For the last two weeks my whole syndicate has been reading the book mines afire and learning facts about the Brunner mines. This week we have been doing a slide show with some questions about the brunner mines. We had 8 questions to answer. We could search them up or  use pages with information about the Brunner mine disaster. Here are the slides.

This week we have been working on addition algorithms. Here is a drawing with the algorithms.

My Christmas dinner

This week we had to make a slide about what we would have for our Christmas dinner. We had to go to countdown.co.nz and find the prices of our food. We also had to make a menu on our slide and put the prices with the food. my total price was 76$ and 3c.

Celebrating my success in 2018

Over the last two weeks we have been looking back at the year that has been 2018 and thinking about our achievements and success. Here is my learning celebration for 2018.

W.A.L.T: Character Description

This week when the people were athletics the teacher read the book, ROCK PAPER SCISSORS. We got to do activities around the book. The one I choose was character description. We get to choose the character we want to describe. I choose scissors. We had to describe the outside and the inside of the character after reading the book. Here is the drawing with my work in it.
