At School during level 3!

As we have gone down to alert level 3 some parents have been able to go to work. Because of that, Grey Main School has opened and some kids have been able to go to school!

School has changed quite a bit. There are only 14 people at school now! isn't that crazy?  Also our play time have changed as well! certain pods have assigned areas to play. We are only allowed to play in the netball court and the skate area and we go out at different times. When we go outside we have to stay 2 metres apart from each other, unless you are from the same bubble at home. 

We do online learning with our teachers as well as other students  are at home.  We do our meets at 10:00 to 11:00 and my maths group is at 12:00 to 12:15.

Now if you do go to school there are 2 different pods, pod 1 and pod 2. I'm in pod 1, and if your in pod 1 you have to wear these hi vis vests to make sure you don't get mixed up in between the 2 pods. 

Pod 1 leaves at 2:30 cause they started earlier than pod 2. And pod 2 leaves at 2:45 cause of course they started a bit later than pod 1.

And when you leave there is a table with wipes and hand sanitiser so you can sanitise and clean your name tag with the wipes.
And thats the end of the day! 

My Favourite Animal

My personal favourite animal would be a wolf. And why you may ask? Ill give you many reasons below



. First reason, I like wolves because I think they look very cute, and some majestic and they could be good house guards.

. Another reason is I love some of the different patterns on different wolves, I also think the colours they have are cool and pretty.

. I think it looks cool when they howl at the moon late at night cause it would be a really cool photo to take .

. They can be very protective over things so if you had them as a pet ( But you can get Husky's instead) they could protect you from anyone getting your house if they were trained.

Haiku poem

On week 5 me and my class had to make a Haiku poem.

My Haiku poem is about the season summer, I chose Summer because I thought it would be fun to see what I could come up with.

Here is my Summer Haiku

Home Made Ice Cream

Today I will be making home made Ice Cream. 
I will be writing down what you will need and will add some photos near the end.
First you need:
500ml of cream
395g of condensed milk
1/4 of a teaspoon of vanilla essence

And then you need a Medium mixing bowl
1. Add the cream to the mixing bowl
2. Then add the condensed milk to the mixing bowl
3. Then mix the two together thoroughly but not to the point it turns to cream, just enough that their mixed together
4. Then add the vanilla essence

Mine is going to look different because I'm adding peppermint essence and green food dye and chocolate chips.

5. Mix the ingredients until its thick and peaks
6. Then put the mixture in the freezer over night
Around the same time you made it the day before, you can take it out of the freezer.  Hopefully it turns out like bought Ice Cream. Then you can enjoy!

Diamante Poem

Yesterday I started a diamante poem but I didn't finish until today. My poem is about the Sun and Moon.

Acrostic poem

For the past three weeks I have been working on an All About Me slide sent from my teacher. One of the activities was to write an acrostic poem using your name.

Here is mine.

Activity 3 day 1

My charity I have chosen is the SPCA.
I have chosen the SPCA because I like animals and helping them, thats why I have chosen them. 

The SPCA help animals (and rescue them) that have been found or abandoned. The SPCA then take them back to the SPCA to clean them and get better  if they have hurt themselves or any damage done to them.

 They raise money so they can get more equipment and things for the animals. 

Those are the reasons why I chose SPCA.
