Second Stop Motion

 Also in class my friend and I made a second stop motion. We made it about a building being built and breaking down. We also made it with Lego.

In class today my friend and I made a stop motion with Lego pieces and made a horse thing. It's only 3 seconds long but everyone found it funny, so here it is.

I know it's not a lot but it's kinda funny.

Race around the World

For one of our interchanges, we did a race around the world. So what it was is when we got given a continent and we had to make a drawing and add the flag, population and the climate.

What is a Planet?

For one reading task this week we had to write one paragraph about what a planet is. We used the information we got from a site describing what a Planet is.

What is a planet?

A planet has three criteria's, has to be round,

orbits the sun and it must have cleared the

neighbourhood of its orbit. We have eight

planets that have got all of the criteria's.

But if a planet does not have all the

criteria's and only two,it is called a

Dwarf planet. We have five dwarf

planets such as Pluto,

Makemake,Haumea,

Eris and Ceres. So those dwarf

planets are the ones that didn’t

have all the criteria's.

Freddo the Frog

One day during the second week of the school holidays my Dad heard a croaking noise from our pool, when we went to check it out and saw a small frog. We were not sure where he came from because there weren't any other frogs in the pool.  Each night you could hear him croaking, it got very annoying for my Dad because his room is right to the pool. The next day my brother and I were thinking of a name for him, we ended calling him Freddo. We also toke some photos of him in the pool.

Buddy Reading

This week every afternoon we did Buddy Reading.  On Monday we were assigned with partners to read to and they read to us. The seniors were signed with younger kids. We would read for 15 minutes everyday this week.

Facts about Rabbits

Hello! Today I'll talking about some facts about Rabbits! These are just some facts I researched!

Female Rabbits are called Doe and a Male rabbit is a Buck
A baby bunny is called a kit or a kitten

Rabbits usually live for 1-2 years in the wild and 7-10 as a pet.

Here are 5 different types of Rabbits

1.Flemish Giant Rabbit, also this is the biggest rabbit in the world.
2.Mini Lop Rabbit
3.Holland Lop Rabbit

4.Netherland dwarf Rabbit

HPV jabs

 Yesterday at school me and a couple other people had to get our HPV jabs.

The HPV jab protects you from throat and mouth cancer and other thing to your private parts. Its only a small needle and doesn't actually hurt as bad as you might think. To me it felt like my brother just punched me in the arm. Also you can chose what side you can get it on, I got mine on my left arm because I'm right handed so it would be easier to write and stuff like that. Some of the people had to get two jabs because they didn't get their eleven year old jabs. After everyone got their jabs we got to chose a chocolate. Also we have to have another jab in six months!

If your going to get HPV jab, don't worry it's not bad!

Autumn Writing

This week for my writing task we had to make a poem about Autumn and not use the word Autumn in the poem. 

It actually wasn't that hard as I thought it would be.

My Mornings

Last week for writing we had to write about our mornings, with descriptive language.

At School during level 3!

As we have gone down to alert level 3 some parents have been able to go to work. Because of that, Grey Main School has opened and some kids have been able to go to school!

School has changed quite a bit. There are only 14 people at school now! isn't that crazy?  Also our play time have changed as well! certain pods have assigned areas to play. We are only allowed to play in the netball court and the skate area and we go out at different times. When we go outside we have to stay 2 metres apart from each other, unless you are from the same bubble at home. 

We do online learning with our teachers as well as other students  are at home.  We do our meets at 10:00 to 11:00 and my maths group is at 12:00 to 12:15.

Now if you do go to school there are 2 different pods, pod 1 and pod 2. I'm in pod 1, and if your in pod 1 you have to wear these hi vis vests to make sure you don't get mixed up in between the 2 pods. 

Pod 1 leaves at 2:30 cause they started earlier than pod 2. And pod 2 leaves at 2:45 cause of course they started a bit later than pod 1.

And when you leave there is a table with wipes and hand sanitiser so you can sanitise and clean your name tag with the wipes.
And thats the end of the day! 

My Favourite Animal

My personal favourite animal would be a wolf. And why you may ask? Ill give you many reasons below



. First reason, I like wolves because I think they look very cute, and some majestic and they could be good house guards.

. Another reason is I love some of the different patterns on different wolves, I also think the colours they have are cool and pretty.

. I think it looks cool when they howl at the moon late at night cause it would be a really cool photo to take .

. They can be very protective over things so if you had them as a pet ( But you can get Husky's instead) they could protect you from anyone getting your house if they were trained.

Haiku poem

On week 5 me and my class had to make a Haiku poem.

My Haiku poem is about the season summer, I chose Summer because I thought it would be fun to see what I could come up with.

Home Made Ice Cream

Today I will be making home made Ice Cream. 
I will be writing down what you will need and will add some photos near the end.
First you need:
500ml of cream
395g of condensed milk
1/4 of a teaspoon of vanilla essence

And then you need a Medium mixing bowl
1. Add the cream to the mixing bowl
2. Then add the condensed milk to the mixing bowl
3. Then mix the two together thoroughly but not to the point it turns to cream, just enough that their mixed together
4. Then add the vanilla essence

Mine is going to look different because I'm adding peppermint essence and green food dye and chocolate chips.

5. Mix the ingredients until its thick and peaks
6. Then put the mixture in the freezer over night
Around the same time you made it the day before, you can take it out of the freezer.  Hopefully it turns out like bought Ice Cream. Then you can enjoy!
